Hi, I’m Emma!
I’m help teens who feel overwhelmed by day-to-day life-those with ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Through skill building and creating a connection I empower teens to manage their emotions independently.
I believe in creating a safe space to help you recognize strengths you already possess and learn how to utilize them in other settings. With training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) I guide clients through their emotional experiences and help them build essential coping strategies. Whether you're working on managing intense emotions or improving focus, I’m here to help.
MY APPROACH
I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston University and received an award for research in childhood trauma. I have a solid background in teen counseling and supporting clients in their most vulnerable moments. I have advance training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). My experience working at a High-School and being part of the ROTC crisis response team has prepared me to support clients through a range of intense emotions and challenges. I’ve worked with individuals facing emotional dysregulation, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, ASD and ADHD.
Focus Areas
I’m particularly passionate about helping teens with overwhelming emotions and trauma-those navigating ADHD, ASD, anxiety, and depression. I strive to create a non-judgmental space where teens can feel safe to express themselves, learn new skills, and take steps toward positive change. My goal is to empower every teen I work with to manage difficult emotions and develop the resilience needed to thrive in daily life.
Together, we’ll work on building skills, increasing self-confidence, and making progress toward a happier, more balanced life.
